Anyone use or have experience with Apple's Airport Express and AirTunes? I am interested in picking one up so my wife can use the mini iPod I got to put in her stocking for Christmas. I want her to be able to play tunes on her stereo through her PC. I would like a report card on it if anyone has practical knowledge of it or even someone to read it's properties and give me your take.
    TIA,
    apup

BTW are there any less expensive or better alternatives?

I want to do the same thing soon. For now I just play my music on my PC with iTunes set to Shuffle. If she has some OK speakers it sounds pretty good.

I have 2100 songs on my iPod and iTunes.

We both have notebooks. We have some speakers for our old PC somewhere in a box and they were pretty good but I want us to be able to crank the old stereo. I ripped our CD collection and ended up with just under 2500 songs. I have iTunes loaded on the PC and I use it. She doesn't know about the iPod stocking stuffer and I haven't clued her in on iTunes. I'll get her going after Christmas.
