Years ago, I carried a Beretta 21 in an ankle holster. Although the holster was expensive and made by a major manufacturer, it was uncomfortable. Between that and realizing that a .22 wasn't my first choice for a backup gun, I got rid of the Beretta and the holster. After doing a lot of web searches on favorite ankle holsters, I bought a DeSantis Apache Ankle rig for my Glock 26. Yesterday I wore it just a few hours. I had it on too tight and my sock wasn't tall enough to keep all of it off my skin. It wasn't bad, but it got irritating after a while. I put it back on 13 hours ago. This time it's a bit looser and I have a taller sock. I took the Glock out only once today, for about an hour, while I was at the range. I'm not working today. I did spend about 3 hours in the car, went shopping a Wally World and the grocery store and took my dogs for about a 1 mile walk. This holster is starting to get uncomfortable. The fact that it was barely noticeable for about 12 hours is great! I'm very happy with this purchase!
