Anyone own a 5903?

    I like the older S&W pistols and have decided to get one of the 5903 models. I was looking at the 5906,but they are kind of heavy, comparing the two. So does anyone own one and what accessories are there for it-sights,mags,etc.,thanks.

    Mags- Smith or mec gar 15, 17 and 20 rounders.

    Sights depends on which model you get, fixed or adjustable rear. night sights are available for both.

    There is something about the S&W semi's that seem stylish to me, as well as, being very tough. I eventually would like to get more-4506,3913etc.,but like everyone else, money is the key and in short demand.

    I had a 5906 and currently have a 4003. If you get one with night sights Trijicon will relamp them for like $60.

    Mecgar mags are good and avail in 15,17 and 20rd.

    I had a primo 5903 that I sold when I foolishly succumbed to the "more modern, polymer framed" mentality. If I had it to do over again, that 5903 would still be with me...they are great guns and if I can find one in as good condition as my other one was, I'd snap it up in a heartbeat.

    All third gen Smiths are great guns. They should be in everyone collection.
