thanks mikol! mukhang affordable yung price! pero ok bang unit yon? lalo pang home protection at wife ko kasi gagamit. i've been looking for other unit pero medyo mataas din ang price. but if you have some suggestion it would be deeply appreciated. thanks!

  5. You might want to look at the Armscor .38 revolvers - nothing simpler than a revolver.

The Armscor .38 revolvers are rather inexpensive - P10K? P12K?
And the recoil of a .38 isn't much, and .38 is about the smallest caliber effective manstopper there is , well maybe a .380 but that's a semi-auto again.

You can even get weakly-loaded .38s - say wadcutters. Still make a much bigger hole than a .22.

Of course , only 6 shots but easy to reload.

thanks ante! pero sa pistol ok na ba yung norinco? np22 model? actually im a newbie. got my colt commander from my dad a month before the gun ban. so di ko pa talaga naputok hangang ngayon.

  7. "...so di ko pa talaga naputok hangang ngayon."

Aha. Well, the gun ban will be over (daw) on June 15, malapit na. Try your Commander and get some experience. The NP22 is a 9mm and the recoil is less than a .45, pare, but the lady still might not like it, or the complication of a semi-auto. Try before buy. Try several types.

Pero yes, as far as I know the Norinco 22 is a good gun.
