Anyone know what this number is on the P232 slide?

I am shopping for a P232 that my wife wants, and came across this used one. There is a number engraved on the slide that I have never seen on a Sig before. That 405- number. I called the seller, and they had no idea what it was. Anyone know?

    Thanks!

Did the seller buy it new? Maybe the slide was replaced by Sig and it is a sort of control number. I will be checking future replies for an answer.

Not sure what the deal was. It was for sale on Gunbroker.com. It has since ended. The seller had no idea what it was...so I am guessing it was a gov't contract gun or something like that?
