I sing Johnny Cash and Three Dog Night primarily. How about you?

It depends, I pick a different song each time, dont really have a fav or go to song and also how long the line is, sometimes you want to sing a song and then the wait is so long that someone else already sings it.

For me its knowing my limitations. Not too high. Not too fast.
I have made some curious choices though....nickelback.

I went out with some friends for karaoke night once. My friends bugged the hell out of me to get up and sing a song. I did. No one ever asked me to do it again.

I believe a reference was made about "nails on a chalkboard" or some such. :dunno:

Believe in yourself and know your limitations of range, speed and style. I watched the Karaoke hosts as they sing their signature songs. They keep their talent within their limitations.
Trust me. Anyone can handle Folsom Prison Blues and look like a champ.
