Anyone handle a Remington 7600 .308 police patrol rifle?

    A LGS just got in a few Remington 7600 .308 police patrol rifles in trade from a PD. They look pretty cool with Wilson ghost ring sights and 16 1/2 inch barrels. I am tempted to get one but haven't seen a lot about them or know of any agencies I know of using them. Any experience with one?:dunno:

    I have one of the 7615's- same rifle in a slightly smaller .223 version- reliable accurate gun- no complaints. if the price is right (let's say under 500 out the door) it would be a good buy. too bad they never made one compatible with fn or g3 magazines. as far as I know the only mags besides the factory 5 rounders are 10 round aftermarkets that I am not sure would work well.
