Anybody go to the gun show in Jackson, MS this weekend? I just heard about it on the radio late Saturday. This is the Great Southern show---supposed to be the big one.

I used to go to all the shows in Jackson, but they keep cranking the price of admission up, and there are virtually no private sales any more, and the dealers are all high on their prices.

And I don't really need any jewelry or books or camo or coins or climbing stands.

Couple that with the fact that gasoline over and back adds another $30 and it just costs more than it's worth.

PS: The prices in their food concession offends me, too. What? A Coke is like $2.50 or so. Everybody wants to get rich . . . and do it quickly.

All great reasons to stay home, NRA_guy. I agree 100% with what you've said... gas prices and gunshow prices being what they are lately.

NoloContendere, good luck to ya on the bar exam!!!

It's usually not worth my time now that ammo prices are high and I reload.
