Guys can you recommend a brand new pistol with a budget of 40K?

Must be light weight. It will be for daily defensive carry.

    Thanks!

For 40K, you can have any gun I own. I'll even throw in a free car....

The Springfield HS and XD9 looks promising.

What shop is the official distributor here in the Philippines?

HS is in the 40-45k range bro, the subcompact is 42k + licensing if I'm not mistaken.

    Thanks guys.

I am currently in negotiations with a BoG member selling his HS9 tactical which he got from the July 08 gunshow.

I will try to access the PG forums. I have registered there for quite some time now but I can't access the 'special' sections.

    I emailed FGE canvassing for a Springfield XDM in 9mm and here was their reply;

Thank you for considering FGE for your firearm requirement. We dont have cal 9mm XD. For the Springfield brand we have XD cal 45, four diff models, you may visit our website(www.fedguns.ph) to view the pictures of these models. Below are the prices of Cal 40 XDM

    XDM model SXDM402T - P64,500.00
    XDM MODEL SXDM400DBL -P60,000.00

60K is way off my budget. Baka malasin na ako sa misis ko.

So I settled for a slightly used HS9 Tactical sold by a fellow BoG member. Total cost is just 50K for the transfer and PTCFOR.

Sir, don't you find the 5-inch barrel Tactical model a bit large for concealed carry?

Yes it's a bit large for CCW but I carried a CZ75B once and I concealed it effectively the only thing that bothered me was the weight of the all metal CZ.

Worst case scenario I buy a bayong

    Hehe, nice one sir :)

Congratulations on your new purchase. I have an HS9 Tactical too, but I use it in a home defense capacity.

I carried an hk usp full sized 45 for years till lason upped the price of the ptc to 14 ba o 18t from 2t.

Desert eagle na lang ang mas bulky sa usp

    This might fit the bill:
Just released in the market: CZ PO7 Duty
    Polymer frame
    SA/DA pistol in 9mm (no .40 yet)
    16+1 rounds (2 mags supplied)
    Lightweight
Same smooth trigger of the award winning SPO1
About the size of a Glock 19
Retail Price at 38K (ex license fees)
    Exclusively imported by Countermeasures Inc.
PM me if interested. Have a few units on reserve at pre-selling price.
