I wonder when it will come out? Maybe a big PD will order it or something and get the ball rolling.
Any news on the G50 in 12mm GAP?
I will write the check right now.
March 2013 you say? OK, I can wait.
I'm still waiting on my 10mm Short single-stack.
Is this before or after the 9mm single stack?
at the same time i get a long slide 36 that takes 45ACP and a swap barrel to take 10mm or a 9x23/38 super
ooo and AA will be releasing the 22lr conversion soon to
At dawsonville a Glock rep told me that a PD in California (IIRC) did put an order in for the 30/36 hybrid dubbed the Glock 30S
Scotty Banks shot my G36 frame with the G30 slide and really liked it. The heavier slide tames the snappiness.
i ccw a glock 36-30 hybrid, but when i put that leftover(30 slide on 36 frame)together, it is truly a freak-o-nature,it looks almost as goofy as the m&p shield!!
Why would Glock make this a factory offering, when they can sell 2 guns to every nimrod wanting to make his own "Hybrid" 30/36 ?
The hybrid idea just screws up a perfectly good G30
I find it very strange this combination works.
I do like the idea though...
I think we are looking at a 30 with a 36 slide for production
...or sell neither to the people wanting the 36 slide over a 30 body?
At least they are listening; hopefully we can get a single stack 45/10mm option.hint-hint-wink-wink-nudge-nudge
It works though.

I own the the G30 and the G36. I like them just the way they are.
I have disappointing news for you. FBI testing has shown the 12mm GAP cartridge to be too powerful in recoil for many of its agents. They are, however, experimenting with a reduced power version of that cartridge, commonly referred to as "FBI-lite-the-sequel". If that load is found to be useable, it will be marketed under the brand name ".48S&W". The Glock 52 model, shooting this cartridge, will hit the market twenty three minutes later, and S&W will again look like klutzes.
Seems like S&W has bigger ears!
Last I heard was that the G30s was sitting with the ATF for their blessing, but unless they can make up a real good argument for it being just a slight tweak to the G30 it probably won't be on the Cali Roster unless they add a mag disconnect.
