All went well during the 1.5 hour prodecure. He should be home sometime Thursday. You may call Emily on his cell phone.

He will be leaner and meaner than ever;)

I saw him last night. He looks pretty good. He is having numbness in his hands, and they don't work well yet. Hopefully this will pass, and may be due to swelling from the surgery. I plan on seeing him again Thursday, and if it's ok with him, I will keep you informed.

PS. He wishes it was ND that needed the surgery, and not him.

Sounds like he is doing well. I agree that ND should have stepped up to the plate for him, but you know those evil twins. Please by all means keep us informed. He is part of our GSSF Family and we wish him a speedy recovery.

Ok Gang, I saw him last night around 5pm or so. He was discharged Thursday morning around 9:30. He is in excellent spirits, and appears to be improving. His hands are still somewhat numb, although they are starting to work better. He can't speak above a scratchy whisper. It is kind of different being that he can't talk as much as usual. I'll give him your regards, but I imagine he will be online again soon. I don't know what his level of comfort is with looking at a his laptop screen.

That's great to hear. I'm sure that dry firing is a good form of rehabilitation. ;f

Well I'm back, sort of. I still have some problems with the left arm and hand, the voice is not much better and I'm not sleeping. BUT I DON"T HURT!!:) After a month of constant debilitating pain this is great.

I'm still having some trouble typing so I think most of my efforts will be limited to reading. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers, it does help. :)
