Any Florida flats fishermen in here?

I love hitting the ICW in my little 12 footer jon boat. Went out for the first time in months last Thursday. Temp was 63F with 12 MPH winds from the west. Got one small sea trout and a blue fish. Not much bait out there but the temps are warming up. Any guys here that also fish the flats here in FL?

If you ever get up north in the summer, try flats fishing for Stripers (or strippers, depending on the day) on the Monomoy Flats off of Cape Cod. Stripers are boring fish to catch. . . unless they can't dive and must RUN.

Never been, but know many who have. I'm more a fresh-water guy. But I would like to give it a whirl. Spinning, not flycasting.
