Actually, what the Iranians are using is their copy of the Chinese CQ called S-5.56. So the copy got copied!

While the Chinese have been great copiers, one time they also fell victim to copycats. The Burmese (or is it Myanmar) Army got some QBZ-97s (the 5.56mm version of the QBZ-95 bullpup) for test and evaluation, then refused to return them and promptly produced their own copy.

The Iranians then produced the Khaybar KH2002, a bull-pup version of the S-5.56. Nice looking gun.
