Mga gurus, ano pa ang procedure ng pag avail ng amnesty? My uncle will give me a lever action .22. How can I transfer this to my name? Unit is in the province I live in Manila.

I think, not sure, that it used to be licensed. Dont know how long expired. Kung expired license, transfer lang ba and pay the penalty or do I have to apply for amnesty?

If the gun is in the FED database, then you have to apply for a transfer of license (present a deed of sale and other supporting documents) and pay for the penalties from the time the old license expired.

The amnesty is only applicable for loose or unlicensed firearms.

Try visiting the PNP web site. There is a PDF file somewhere there with the guidelines on the current amnesty program.
