Anyone know anything about these rounds? I got them at a gun show a while ago.

    Thanks.

I believe that Aguila no longer makes the IQ ammo anymore. They made it in 9mm, 40S&W and 45ACP. I've seen some of the IQ ammo selling for outragous prices on the auction websites.

How well they work for SD is anyone's guess.

Yeah, that's what I'm kinda worried about because I need SD ammo. Someone said they are good for aircraft carry.

They are fun to shoot with lot's of flash and blast but please, please get some quality carry ammo and don't use those! Id hate to see you or someone you love get killed because you used them instead of a known round.

I avoid Aguila like the plague. Why you ask? It's made in Mexico and even the Federales there hate it. I saw a photo of a Glock that "grenaded" beyond belief with Aguila. Last week on the SIG Forum there was a Mosquito that "kaboomed" with Aguila ammo. Did I mention that it was made in Mexico? Hell, they don't even have potable water there!! Pure garbage IMO.

I'm with ya brother. They seemed cool at the time yrs ago, but I won't mess with them, especially for SD.

Never had any problems with any of the Aguilar ammo. It is made on equipment set up by Winchester, I think. Guatemala has bad water too, but they made some dandy 556.

    Aircraft carry?!

For starters, who needs that besides armed pilots and Air Marshals? For another, that's NOT what they carry.
