Against the Grain

Discussion in 'The Book Rack' started by idwritingworks, Mar 5, 2013.

  1. I just got done writing and publishing my first book, Against the Grain. Its an easy read with nothing all that mind blowing, but "a good bathroom companion" as my editor calls it, lol. Its not too heavy and has a little humor and hopefully is a worthwhile read.

Amazon link: [ame=""]Against the Grain: Ian Daniels: Kindle Store@@AMEPARAM@@[/ame]

Other e-reader formats are available from smashwords and
Ive decided to participate in Smashwords Read an EBook a Week promotion and have offered readers a 50% off coupon that will bring the price down to $1.50 through March 9th. Enter Coupon code REW50 at checkout.

Im also working on getting the paperback up and running. The blog has all that, a facebook link, and some stuff about trying out writing for the first time.

Feedback and reviews have been very positive so far.

    Thanks for reading!

  2. Loading...

  3. The long awaited (at least by me) paperback version of Against the Grain is now available for all of us who still like having a physical book to flip through.

I used the print company Createspace for this and Createspace in turn partners with Amazon to sell the paperback version, but it takes 5-7 days to show up as available to buy on Amazon's page. So until that happens, I decided for anyone that wants to get in on one of these right away, you can go to Createspace's EStore and buy it directly at a discounted price by entering the promo code: FCF3Q2G7

Once the book shows up on Amazon this code will be deactivated, and again, there is no set time frame - sometime within the next 5 to 7 days.

    Thanks for reading!

  4. Coming soon:

See how it began… well you know, after it had already started. See how it started after it had already began? See what happened before the other one that was already a year or two into it all? ... This one is a prequel, let’s just go with that.
