I have owned a glock 23 for a couple of years now and have been carrying it for about 6 months. I sold my gen 2 to get a gen 4, but since have been looking at some other choices. I like the .40 and am fairly accurate with it, but i feel like there is just a little too much time between shots. Because of this i was looking at going to a 9mm or .45 gap. the 9mm because of overall less recoil and the .45 has more recoil, but less muzzle flip. I was just wondering if you would have any recommendations? I am trying to keep it to 1 handgun for ccw and practice/plinking.

I'm inclined toward recommending the 9mm for ya. Muzzle flip will be less than either of the other two calibers, and of course, practice ammo will be LOTS cheaper.
