This is weird - I can only login as an Administrator on my machine when it's in Safe Mode. How can I make it so the Admin profile shows up on start-up?!?

    What OS?

If Win2K or XPPro you have to change the user account settings through the registry to show on the welcome screen.

If XPHome - I don't know if you can make it appear or not, but it's worth a try - using the same method.

    Start the Registry Editor
    Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon \ SpecialAccounts \ UserList \
Right-click an empty space in the right pane and select New > DWORD Value
    Name the new value Administrator
Double-click this new value, and enter 1 as its Value data
    Close the registry editor
