Can anybody give me any details about a recent case in the MN area.
It was brought up in conversation by relatives in MN, and some of them tried to use it for their anti-gun, anti-carry position; and even suggested the judge was a gun-nut and that's why he overturned the conviction.

What they told me about it:

Several motorcyclists stopped by side of road
    One of them got shot
It was fired from house across street an a "cleaning accident"
Jury convicted shooter (don't know what charge)
    Judge overturned Jury

I tried googling for info, but came up emptyhanded.
Anything you can remember about this incedent, please share.

    Thanks.

I also ran a few searches through google and came up empty-handed. I'll be looking out for this story as well. It would be interesting to know why the jury was overturned and charges were dropped.
