Always enamored with the Accuracy International AWP, and even the AICS (stock) on a Remington 700 (5R barrel).

Are true/genuine AI's worth their asking price (5k+)?

Since the MSRP of an AI-AWSM (.338LM) is currently around $6000-7000 depending on options and they are still selling at that price, then by definition they are worth it to the buyers.

As with any super high end item, it is up to each person to decide if the additional capabilities and features are worth it to him, whether he would actually take advantage of and get benefit from them, or if he would be better off buying something else.
