Can anybody tell me how to alleviate the abrasiveness of the grip panel on the Gen 4? Just the left side as it burns my side up even sitting still with it on. This subject has no doubt been touched on before so if someone could refer me to the thread or sumpin'. Thanks loads.

I use Agrip(s). LOVE them. On all my Glocks. I found the other textured grips still too rough on my skin for IWB carry.

    Bicycle innertube cut to size.

Or lightly sand with very fine sandpaper.

I wear and undershirt when I carry (which is all day, every day). That could be something to consider. I understand that not everyone is comfortable in an undershirt (especially in this year's heat), but it's something that's worth trying.

Guys come on....sandpaper? really? The ploymids couldn't be any flatter on a Gen 4. If the texture bothers you, just use a grip sleeve like hogue, pachmayr, or bicycle inner tube as described above.

I find the Gen4 very easy on the skin. Are you positive you don't have the RTF?

Sand it down and make it look like a Gen-1.

    Get a gen3.

I'd rather be judged by twelve than carried by six

Same here. FWIW, we don't have the humidity, but our summers reach 95 to 110+ degrees every year. On my time, I live in cargo shorts and short sleeve shirts, including a T shirt. I really prefer the new texture of my Gen 4 vs my old Gen 2's and 3's.
