Warner who the polls say is leading, "took over from Gilmore.

He claimed a large deficit and pushed ,I think it was, the largest tax increase in history.

The next year we had a surplus that equaled the amount of the increase.

Does that increase make sense to you?

It makes no sense at all, it was very bizarre the way that whole thing happened. Just another democrat with an uncontrollable need to raise taxes.

It gets even better though, in the two years that Kaine has been Governor (he relieved Warner) we have managed to run into another budget deficit. It seems that if Warner had done souch a great job and Kaine has done absolutely nothing we should still be in pretty good shape. One has to wonder, how good of a job did Warner really do?

Some day before I leave this earth, I hope that there is an election that has someone I really like running. I'm getting really tired of voting for the best of the worst.
