I got my Palmetto State Armory kit in today, and it is very high quality especially for the price. I have read on other sites that the kits were not packed very well, but mine came in a box with egg crate foam and it was packed inside a shipping box. All the parts were packed in Zip Lock bags by parts group (fire control, retaining pins and springs, etc). It was well protected. All of the parts were brand new, most marked with Palmetto State logos, and all fit in my $59 Surplus Arms receiver without incident. The upper had obviously been test fired prior to shipping. The complete rifle fires without malfunctions using an old well used surplus military mag. The finished gun is tight fitting, as good as my Colt LE6520 that I carry on duty. Sorry I don't have my camera with me right now will post pics later.
