    About SixtyFour
    Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Who are you and why are you guys doing this?
A: We are just five guys having a blast playing music we love. For no other reason than just to have some fun. No pressure to write a hit song, or be the next "Big Thing".

Q: Is SixtyFour a Tribute band?
    A. No. A Beatles tribute band wears Beatles outfits / costumes (and usually some REALLY awful wigs) and puts on a re-creation of what a Beatles concert experience might have been like. There are some great tribute bands out there such as "The Fab Four" or "Rain". We are not nearly that cool. We are just five dudes playing Beatles tunes because we love the music and it's fun stuff to play!

Q: Why did you name the band "SixtyFour"
A: We needed to have a band name and since "Iron Butterfly" and "Stone Temple Pilots" were taken, we opted to call ouselves "SixtyFour". 1964 is the year when The Beatles played their first concerts in the U.S.

Q: Do you do this for a living?
A: HA! No! This is just a fun thing for us to do in what little spare time we have. We are not about to quit our day jobs!

Q: So when / where do you guys play?
A: That really is a good question

    Q: Why The Beatles?
A: Why not the Beatles?? Who year we might decide to play only "Mott The Hoople" songs.

Q: Who is "Mott The Hoople"
    A: *Sigh*
