It all started back in early oct. I went to the LGS with a buddy who was looking to buy a Ruger SR22. While there I was looking at the used Glocks and they had a Gen3 G19 with one hi-cap mag and no box for $385 plus tax. I held it and looked it over. With Christmas coming and a furnace repair I did'nt have the money to buy it. So handed it back and went back to looking around. Should've left right then but I did'nt. About a half hour of looking around I could'nt help myself, Told the guy I'll take it and put it in layaway. So three months later I finally brought it home on tuesday.

    It's an Austrian proof Gen3 G19 KUYxxx

Thank you everyone. Took it to the range today and put 100 rds through it. Would like to have shot more but my 9mm stash is under 500 and I can't find 9mm anywhere. It was really accurate and ran great except for one FTF, But that was with the one KCI mag I have. Very happy with it and was definetly worth the wait.

Nice 19. I had one of those a few years ago, my mistake for selling it. However I did find a Gen 4 19 today at Gander Mountain. The gun was in the back on the shelf and not on the floor for sale. I just happened to talk to the manager who check in the back. I was surprised when he came back out with it. So it went home with me. I got lucky.

The funny thing is I did'nt even notice it was proof marked until the day I got it home. I was looking at it compared to my 23 and noticed all the different markings on the 19. I knew they looked familiar, But could remember what they meant until I read the thread linked below.

Nice score......nice decision to put it on lay a way.

    There's always a way.......even if it's lay a.

I paid 650 for it. It was a better price then what I have seen on Gun Broker.
