Two month wait, but it was worth it. Sweet!! $439 OTD.
Already have a CrossBreed IWB holster for it. This one will take the place of my G26 for my EDC as soon as I get her broken in this Friday.

I want one. I love my Glocks but think Glock is missing the boat by not having a small single stack 9.

If you're going to carry it IWB anyway, I don't see the advantage over a G26?

    Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!!

I want to get my hands on the .40 Shield.
IF it shoots well, I'll set down my G26, for CCW, and pick up the Shield.

The Shield (either caliber) is as rare as hen's teeth, in Southern Maryland.

It's thinner and easier to not print and it's a little more comfortable.

Congrats on the new Shield! I stumbled across one when they were released and have had it in my carry rotation ever since I did ammo tests at the range. It eats everything!

Here it is in a Comp-Tac MTAC holster:

    It's pretty nice
Got a 40 and it shoots very well. Front dot fell out of the sight (first day I shot it) just like on all my M&P's but is flawless in function also like all of my M&P's. It's really thin. 7+1 and thinner but same size from the side as my 6+1 Kahr P45. I still carry both though, love that Kahr in particular and I presently own five of them. Anyone want to trade me a 7 rd. mag for my 6 rd. mag let me know. Can't find any mags anywhere.

I also have a Shield 9mm and a Glock 26 Gen 4. But I am keeping the 26. The only advantage of the shield is width. It is a little more comfortable to carry and is fun to shoot. However I feel more comfortable when I go to the big bad city with the higher round count of the 26 and my G19 15 round back up mag.

Sounds like a good price, they are going for $499 in my area, if you can find one.

If I didn't already have a single stack 9mm I'd be looking seriously at one.

I bought a shield 40 three weeks ago and haven't shot it yet. The grip is too small for me, I think. A local gun shop is having a gun show on Sat at a range with all the factory reps and their guns. I'm going to shoot one there. If I like it I'll keep mine, if not; anyone want a NIB 40 shield?
