I am trying to load 9mm with 3.6 grain Tite Group, 124 grain lead RN, and a 1.125 OCL. This works great in Glock/Lone Wolf pistol and a SIG P226, but not in a old Sig P6 (police version of P225). I use the barrels as a gage when reloading, they should drop with a "thunk" and flush with the barrel end. With the P6 and lead I have to shorten the OCL to 1.070 to get a good seat and the pistol go into battery. With a plated lead 115 grain RN the 1.125 OCL works great. This is a light load, can I safely shorten the OCL to 1.070?
