First I've seen this. I don't plan on diving with my 9's but interesting nonetheless.

Speer Gold Dot Dive Ammunition better know as SOC which stands for Special Operations Cartridge. Designed to operate in environments where other loads can never go. Deep in the water and up to 90 Mins.

For fighting off them sharks with frickin' laser beams!

Wonder if they'll expand that to their other calibers anytime...

A potent combination, the H&K MP5 SD and 124gr Speer Gold Dot Hollow Point 55036 ammunition, is silent, waterproof, accurate and effective.

This 9mm Luger 124gr. Gold Dot Hollow Point ammunition is specially sealed with a proprietary process which bonds the sealant to the unpassivated surface of the brass shellcases. Cases that may be nickel plated or otherwise treated may be more appealing to the eye, but will not accept the bond of the sealant. A special primer was employed to ignite the propellant in the most demanding of circumstances and consequently yields extremely uniform velocity and exceptional accuracy. Sealant to withstand sewer water to saltwater. Proof tested to a depth of 115 feet for 90 minutes.

The weapon, built with the special H&K roller-locked bolt system, is capable of semi-auto, controlled burst or full-automatic firing. Coated with magnetically charged black lacquer paint, the MP5 is extremely resistant to harsh conditions such as salt water corrosion. The free floating cold hammer-forged barrel and ambidextrous pistol grip make this weapon unique in its class. The barrel of the SD weapon is ported virtually at the chamber, in order to bleed gas to the forward portion of the suppressor can, thereby reducing the velocity of the projectile. Average velocity loss is 200 feet per second (regardless of ammunition type). Gold Dot ammunition with a velocity of 1150 fps will not break the sound barrier when fired in an MP5SD, but with optimal performance and terminal penetration.
