Hi guys. i installed a BSA sweet scope for .17HMR on my M14 and tried to zero it at 25 meters(still testing the scope and gun actually) and was surprised that when using an LC ammo and shooting with RPA ammo, there would be a difference of about 4 inches to the left with RPA and even WCC. Thought it might be an LC match ammo but it should not matter at that distance, right?

What do you think, is this an ammo problem? the rifle? or the scope?

    Welcome to the forum!
Your rifle is reacting to the brand of ammo you are using.
Nothing wrong with both ammo or rifle, all you have to do is choose which ammo is right for your rifle. Isn't it hard to get 7.62 there?

yup, its hard. once in a while there would be a couple available but then you have to be contended with different brands of ammo that's available.

I don't usually get this much difference in 5.56 except when using the new ammo on an old barrel which tumbles and really makes a big hole on the target.

was considering bringing it on the next outing but too heavy and still don't have a tactical sling for it. Does the pouches on the web gear you are using also able to hold M14 mags?

Nope, you have to get M14 pouches. The rig is modular, you can swap out the pouches :) By the way, we have medcap this 8/11.
