seen video of the night guard with the cylinder and slide rear and big old xs tritium front. A sight setup like this looks sweet. Wonder what peoples opinions are?

I like fixed sight wheelguns for defensive use...but that scandium frame is going to be a vicious recoiler.

My dream gun would be the 325 in 3" barrel WITHOUT the safety lock.

I've added the C&S rear to several of my N frames. I also put a D&L fixed rear on my 3" J frame. These are excellent carry sights.

I've shot two guns with these sights. I have a set here for my one 686 that I haven't installed yet.

I like them. The one gun I fired had the tritium inserts installed from C&S. The only draw back I can find with them is once they are calibrated for one load, they may not shoot to point of aim with other loads as is true with any fixed sight setup.

Other than that, they are great! If I were to carry a revolver ever again, I'd certainly have these sights (with the tritium inserts) on my carry gun.

can they be adjusted at all. If not, what sight picture do they use, i like a combat hold sights directly over target. And its a 4 inch steel 686p.Not a night guard, im just looking at the same type of sights.

They can be regulated when you install them, but not adjusted.
I have my gunsmith regulate them for a combat hold.

I like these sights a lot. If you buy them from C&S the rear will have a square notch where the NG's have a U notch.
