  2. read the reviews and that 1st one would worry me. ( it blew up )

    Other than that, it would be a good storage media for non critical files.

    I question some reviews sometimes.. A Hard driving blowing up?.. lol. That would be quite a sight. I'd bet the power supply smoked, etc.. and just fried the hard drive in the process.

    Actually NE has 3 500 GB hd for the same deal, a Western Digital Caviar GP WD5000AACS, SAMSUNG Spinpoint F1 HD502lJ and the above mentioned hd.


    I always check both sites before I buy anything electronic and go with the best deal.
