Tonight I was at the range with my very new g23 working up some peppy 135 nosler loads. The gun up until this has never had any issue in 3-4 hundred rounds. While working up the ladder I had a failure to feed. Looked like it didn't pop out of the mag before it hit the ramp. I'm running 1.125" OAL. What are you guys running? I'm thinking of taking it down.

A 1.125"OAL has worked for me in several 40s for all bullet wts. No reason it should want to load shorter than any other bulelt wt, unless it doesn't fit the bbl.

It could be magazine follower if it has 9 stamped on it has problems with certain shape bullets. I've seen other posts stating golden sabers giving failure to feed in new glock magazines. I bought two new glock 22 magazine's last month and both had 9 stamped on the magazines followers and both failed to feed golden sabers. I still had some spare parts with 5 stamped put them in the new magazines and they feed perfectly. That might be your problem.
