  1. How much did your average 50 round box of .40 cal. practice ammo cost prior to the current shortage?

I didn't own my G23 until recently, and didn't pay much attention. I remember paying $10 to $14 a box for 9mm, so .40 must have been a bit more than that.

$14ish. Sometimes you could get lucky and score something online for $12.99, or so, by the case.

Local Walmart HAD 3 boxes for $18.17 plus tax each. Now they have ZERO. First pistol ammo that I had seen there in 3 months.

at the WM in Houston, it was $13 for a while, then to $16, now seems to be about $17 when you can find it at WM or Academy.

right now its a one box per caliber limit at Academy.

Max I paid pre-panic for .40 FMJ was 0.28 per round. Got most at 0.26 per. That was a month before SHTF. Still find 0.28 from time to time, and WON'T pay more. I'll wait until this passes over...which will be many months.
