Hello all, I'm sure this has been beaten to death (been searching google, and have read a few old posts from various firearms forums) but am wondering if there's a general consensus among Glockers on which barrel - the Storm Lake or the Lone Wolf is the better buy.

Have a shop locally with the Lone Wolf, but before I snap it up I'm curious if there is anything I should know before buying one.

    Thanks!

i have lone wolf and its been 100% thru 500 or so....if you get lw get it blind marked and black. Looks much better...does shoot lower than the oem 40 barrel though

I have a G 23 and a G27 with LW barrels. Both have worked great with 9mm mags. I like the silver barrel better. Makes it very easy to tell if the gun is set up for .40 or 9mm.

Yeah was wondering what accuracy is like with these conversion barrels. I know with .40 it shoots where its aimed, but 9mm will probably take some trial and error to see where it shoots.

I have a couple LW barrels, so I have no experience with storm lake. One is a 10mm for my G29 and the other is conversion that I use in my G23 and my G27. The barrels are really accurate and the price is right.

+1-I have the same set up. Accurate as hell, and not one hiccup. Mine doesn't seem to shoot low though.
Super confident in the setup. Go for it, you'll love it.

Lone Wolf 40-9mm works flawlessly in my G23 Gen 3. I'm sure you'd be fine with LW in you G27.

I chose Lone Wolf based on price and have not regretted my decision. I have one for my Gen 4 G22 and one for my Gen 2 (Gen 3?) G27. The only issue I have had has been the Gen 4 G22 not liking the light 9mm (115 gr) loads. Not enough power to overcome the dual guide rod spring configuration. The 147 gr loads worked fine. I know I could swap out the guide rod and springs to handle lighter 9mm, but it's not a concern for me at this time. Right now, 9mm is for range only. Anything self-defense is .40 cal.

Lone Wolf conversion for your 27 is great. I bought one for my 27 and one for my sons 23. What a blast to shoot 9mm out of our .40s

I have the LW 40-9 barrel for my 23. I have used it many times in the 23 and 27 with absolutely no issues.
