I really like my G31. While it's not yet at true .357 mag numbers. it's clawing on the heals of the 60 Pro and has the 686P in it's sights. I have been nothing but impressed with the G31. I'm now reloading for it. And there is so much head room to play with it should be producing true 125gn ,357mag numbers and still retain combat accuracy. The pistol and it's round have been a joy to work with. The round seems to be inherently accurate. And the Glock OEM chamber seems to support the round very well and be easy on the brass. And it seems the barrel it's self is very fast! I slugged it out last night. It seems very true and measured out perfect! I did a chamber poor and it to was perfect. Looks like Glock put a match grade barrel in my old 3rd Gen 31. While many bag on the new Smiths. I have owned older Smith's, Colt's and DW's as a younger man. And I can't find fault with the newer Smiths. My 686P as seen 99% full house H110's and those pesky soft and slow 2400 loads. The wife's 60 Pro has had about 70% of it's range time on real .357's also. She shot the G31 today with loads hotter than anything you can get retail except for Underwood. And she now wants a smaller version and told me I could have her 60 Pro as soon as I got her a Glock .357 Sig. I don't have epiphany moments very often. But when I do. It's like a baseball bat to the back of the head. Glock and there support of fad chamberings has woke me up. There is no reason for me to ever buy a 9mm or 45acp. And I was never a fan of the .40 short & weak. Before me is .357 Sig and 10mm. My life has got much simpler.
