I was going to review Pete's 357 SIG page to see if he had any info about cannelured bullets in 357 SIG, but I can't get his page to download. Have any of you 357 SIG handloaders tried cannelured bullets?

And Pete, if you see this post, is your 357 SIG page gone? It is THE most information packed and helpful 357 SIG website on the net. I would be a shame for it to be lost.

    Still can't get it here:

    Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at www.handguninfo.com.

    * Check the address for typing errors such as
    ww.example.com instead of
    www.example.com

    * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
    connection.

    * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

    What you can try:

I am not a computer person so I don't have a clue what a DNS server is, but several years ago I went to Pete's page many times and never had a problem.
Should I call my IP and inquire about it?

    Neal:

Several times, over the years, I've had the experience of my internet provider switching to a different server for looking up addresses on the Web without telling any of the customers that this change has taken place. That's why I suggested it as a possibility that might explain the cryptic response you're getting when you try to hit pete's page.

Yes, you'll have to contact your IP to find out what DNS server should be specified in your network settings dialog on your computer.

All this may spontaneously take care of itself as DNS servers refresh their catalogs on a daily basis (usually).

But, again, I want to make the point that I have lost service on occasion because my IP changed the address of their lookup server without informing customers.

OK, I have a day off and called my IP tech service. She tried the address I gave her for Pete's page and could not get it to load either. Can one of you guys verify the page still comes up for you? Thanks.

Yea, it's several years old now. But, I still can't get the website. Just got off the phone with my IP. He could not get it with the direct website address, but was able to get it through Google. I tried Google and I still can't get it. He is supposed to be checking into the problem and call me back.

This is extremely frustrating! Not only is my "hi speed" wireless internet service WAY slower than advertised, but for some reason it's blocking me from a website that I could get fine a few years ago. I don't get it.

Can you get to http://handguninfo.com by typing just that into your browser or clicking the link here if it shows? If not, go to a DOS prompt and type ping handguninfo.com and hit enter. If you get a reply you have a DNS issue.

Looks like you were right about it being a DNS issue:

Just got off the phone with tech support: They walked me through something I'm going to call a DNS Flush, and now it works. I can get Pete's page again. Many thanks to all for the replies.
