    Hi Mas:
I just purchased a Smith 340 M&P. Are there any light .357 loads out there that would allow you to make a quick back up shot, or would you recommend carrying a .38 +P load?

The medium-velocity Remington Golden Saber 125 grain load and the Speer Short Barrel Gold Dot .357 would certainly be worth looking at.

    best,
    Mas

I was wondering about the 80 gr. Glaser Safety Slug, or one of the light bullets in critical defense ammo.

Ken, like many in the field, I've gotten away from ultra-light bullets due to concerns of inadequate penetration.
    best,
    Mas
