I knew I should have left things alone. Anyway this evening I decided to give my new Glock a 25 cent trigger job. To cut a long story short I managed to completely strip the slide and lower and buff and polish the necessary parts and reassemble. I then spent about 15-20 minutes dry firing after I reassembled and everything was fine, the trigger felt smoother and maybe a little crisper, and then the trigger just went very stiff. I reckon that if I had a 5-6lb break before the pull suddenly went to about 12lb and feels really strange. I've since completely restripped the gun and had no change. I'm a newbie to Glocking, maybe I'm missing something. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Did you put a drop of oil where the connector meets the trigger bar?
