way back 1998 i went to danao to buy xmas presents for my clients and suppliers. there they are selling .22, .38 revolvers at P300 with class A at P800

so i think P1.8k is quite high even though its class A

any way that's just my opinion.

but can you use the 22LR instead of the 22 magnum bullets?

You cannot load 22LR in a 22MAG cylinder. But if you have both cylinders, you can shoot it in one barrel.

16,000 lang last gunshow. nope not the magnum cs. the bullet heads of .22lr the are the same as the case width. the .22 magnums are not. They're much smaller. The .22LR is full .22 caliber. The .22 magnum is not.

  9. P1,800?! Isa o dalawang range session lang yan...

If I'm not mistaken, P6,000 nuon 3 years ago yan. Pero giveaway pag bumuli ka ng isang baril sa shop nila. Limot ko lang anong pangalan, e...

Maganda yan pang centuron... Parang Zippo lighter lang

If I were you I would not trust a paltik especially in a minigun. Your hand will be very much exposed at the end of the cylinder. It can blast your hand away. Masyado malapit. Malamang masugatan ka kapag tinamaan ng blast kamay mo. It happened to me in a original NAA .22 magnum that I owned. I dont see any reason why it would not happen in a paltik. The bullet hit the forcing cone after it exited the cylinder and some copper jacket separated from the bullet. The blast hit my hand and I saw it bleeding and pieces of copper jacket were lodged in my hand. even without th coppr jacket, the blast alone between the cylinder and the barrel can wound you. I still would want an original NAA mini-revolver though. There's just no equal to it. I used to carry mine in my trouser pocket all day even at home.

3Kings pwede ako maging supplier mo (ng laman hehehe)

As for the paltik, as long as its cheap buy it, keep it in the
house as your "Pantapon" in case makadale ka.

Guys - Let's keep it legal.;)

  14. Both of their bullets are .22 caliber, but-

The .22 LR is a "heeled" bullet, that is, the diameter of the bullet is the same diameter as that of it's case and has a narrower heel portion that fits the case. Velocities range from 900 - 1800 ft/sec.

The .22 WMR (Winchester Magnum Rimfire) was introduced in 1950 by Winchester and has a larger case than the .22 LR both in diameter and legth. It has also a much thicker case, allowing much higher pressures. It generates velocities over 2000 ft/sec from a rifle and 1500 ft/sec from a handgun.

Can a hangun chambered for the .22 WMR fire a .22 LR bullet?
Yes but the shell will expand (and sometimes splits) so that extraction could be a problem. Used to do this all the time in my younger (and more foolish) years.

Can a handgun chambered for the .22 LR fire a .22 WMR bullet?
No. It (the bullet) cannot (and should not) fit the chamber. Unless some hogleg gunsmith "oversized" the chamber/s. Gauging from the velocities indicated, it could be a very, very dangerous practice.
