I paid $60 each for the PASGT on Ebay and bought a leather headband which clips to the inside webbing which makes it very stable on your head, coupled with the chin strap.

I have 2 pairs of Bolle goggles and they work just fine with the PASGT.

Now if I can only tell my coworkers to stop looking at me weird when I wear my helmet and business suit.

Bought 4 Gen 4 G19's and am selling off my mix of .40 and 9mm Glocks so that I have 100% magazine capacity. Glocks, ARs, Keltecs, 10/22s, all share common mags so no mistakes and a short learning curve under stress.

A plus here is that I sold about $600 worth of .40 Ammo on the classifieds last night... might not have asked enough I guess.

I started the Couch to 5k (C25k) program this week. I’ve been walking 5.5 miles a day at a 4.5 mph pace for a few months and decided to see if I could actually run. So far so good.

I had a meeting with our local CERT administrator with the fire department to come up with a plan to increase the members of our neighborhood team.

Started studying for the HAM test.

Bought some FAK supplies, a wrist watch for the bob and of course more ammo.

Sportsmansguide has the Federal 525 round Hollow Point bulk packs for $18.49 right now. There are free shipping coupons available on several couponing sites as well.

Cheapest price around I know of

Thanks for the tip. I assume they can be used for gasoline and there is nothing special about them being labeled for diesel?

I monitor the ebay websites that resell used, TSA confiscated items like leathermen, corkscrews, scissors. The prices have been jumping in the last couple of months. I give leathermen as gifts to relatives and friends rather than fruit cakes, neckties, dress belts and other boring stuff.

Pulled about a half a cord of firewood out of roadside swails on my country lane.

Power company leavings. Most of it cherry! some crap mixed in, and a little oak.

heck, 100 bucks I don't have to spend to buy it. Free burns too!

A good portion already the right size, only about half of it needed splitting. Ready for next season once its sat in the sun for a summer.

Over the last 2 weeks I have sold/traded my ruger lcp and tokarev pistols in favor of an lc9 and g17! I got rid of 2 obscure calibers and replaced them with 9mm that I have plenty of! Plus trading the Tok for the g17 gives me a way better pistol!!!
