2006 Spring Turkey Mount

    Just got my tom back from last springs hunt. His tail looks rough because he was fighting 2 other birds right before I shot him. He's got a thick 11.25" beard, and 1" spurs. He weighed 23 lbs. This is my first tom, I got a jake the 2 previous seasons.

    Man I hate you... I just shot my computer screen thinking a turkey landed in my room ;)

    seriously , Nice job..... your taxidermist did I do wonder how he did the legs and roost in getting the bird to stand up straight.

    Thanks. He has all-thread running up the lower leg, and he pinned the leg joint. I asked the same question. :supergrin:

    Thank you. I was pretty excited. He, and 3 other toms came in to a jake decoy mating a hen decoy. They were not happy about that jake. :shocked:
