I have a 1988 Dodge RamCharger with 98,000 miles on it.
Whenever I stop, no matter how gently as soon as the vehicle comes to a complete stop there is a "clunk" sound coming from the front end.
I believe that this vehicle needs new U-Joints however I am not 100% sure.

Oh and when I accelerate it doesnt make a sound and if I coast to a stop it still makes that "clunk" sound as soon as I am at a complete stop.
Is there any thing else I could be missing?

    Thanks for help in advance

You can check U-joints with a wiggle test... grab the drive shart and shake it, inspect for play.

Is your battery bolted down well?

Broken motor mounts can result in a clunk as your engine shifts.

Check for broken shock mounts too.

It's a Dodge, you should be used to clunks and rattles by now.
    :)
