1978 Western-like rig

    That was accidental and totally not planned. Two new guns in two Colt MKIV 9mm on its way here :whistling:
    Anyway, M28 is practically brand new and I don't think it was ever fired except for factory. Marlin 336 needs some love, but for its age is in pretty good condition. After my two disasters with later models 336 I was nicely surprised with the quality of this rifle. They were making them right back then...with no cross bolt safety and nice fit and finish. I'm thinking that the rifle needs some cleaning and XS ring sights while the revolver will stay as it's for now. Bit too long barrel for my taste, but it may be a future project.
