Hi Folks: I have a 1968 Honda Dream 305 cc. Does anyone have any information on how I can find out what it is worth. I am going to sell it but I don't have a clue to it's value. It really is in nice shape but hasn't been run in more than 10 years. I think the actual miles on it is around 5000. Any help will be appreicated. Thanks! Mn. Fly Boy

It mostly depends on how fast you wanna sell it.

It's worth a lot to the right person.

Is it in "showroom" condition or is it simply "restorable"? "Nice" is a subjective term, so I can't say for sure.

Also, whether you sell it "as-is" ($800-1000?) or in running condition ($2000-$2200?) will make a difference too.

    If I were you:

I'd take it apart and grease all the bearings in the wheels, swingarm, and steering head.

I'd lube or replace the cables.

    Check the brakes.

    Check the chain and sprockets.

    Get a new air filter.

Put on new tubes and tires.

    Clean the carb.

    Flush the gas tank.

    Install a fuel filter.

    Change the oil.

    Get a new battery (?).

    Replace the points.

Remove the plug(s) and squirt a little oil in the cylinder(s).

    Put in new plug(s).

Fire it up and go for a ride. There ain't no reason to sell it.

I guarantee you it's value increases daily. ;)

Here's a club my father and I belong to. It could help. All I can tell you is that they are pretty sought after! Good luck!
