Interestingly the brand of gun I have seen lock up/break to the point of uselessness during my training experiences has always been Glock (usually a model 21). I have never seen a 1911 go completely belly up. I watched a bad reload blow up in a Kimber. After taking it apart and inspecting it, we put it back together and it still runs fine. Of course I do not have the hours on the range Yaeger does.

I also would not introduce a novice shooter-most shooters are just north of novice IMHO-to pistols with a 1911. I'd give them a Glock 19.

A rambling, inaccurate, poorly constructed diatribe.

    Very convincing.

Tank Abbot? Just kidding, he has some good points I guess? He needs to put on a polo shirt and shave that stupid goatee if he wants to look a little more profesional though.

I've been a 1911 owner and one of it's strongest proponents for well over 3 decades.

    I agree with him 100%.

Modern mass produced 1911's are for the most part garbage.:dunno:

Nothing bugs me more than the forever 21 crowd. Mid 40's and still dressing like your cool. Get a hold of yourself, its ok to get older.

Yeah, people might actually take him seriously if he dressed properly and cleaned up a bit.
