That is a text book definition of trolling, not providing any knowledge, sharing any helpfulness, and intentionally stirring the pot. You are not going to change any minds here, why would so many of us spend SO much money on weapons that were inferior in our eyes? We have different prized qualities than you obviously. So why not go troll somewhere else.

Plus you always come here and post the same crap that no one cares about, so whats the point if not to troll?

A shop near me has a Springfield Range Officer, but he wants $899.00 for it.

A 100 year old design is extremely reliable. People have bet there lives on 1911's for 100 years. I bet they will continue to do so for another 100 years. Yea they can be kinda picky about JHP but you know what that's OK. Have you seen the size of a 45 caliber round? There not exactly small I have no problem carrying a 1911 45 with FMJ's. Want to see unreliable take a look at Glock current offerings.

I just looked through your post history, why have you gone to praising 1911s, saying that your dream .45 is an Ed Brown Special Forces, saying you were selling off some glocks to fund 1911s, to bashing them? You go back and forth from bashing them to loving them, have you ever owned more than one or shot more than one?

No no...he is absolutely right. It's an old, outdated design. Seriously, 100 years old for crying out loud. It's heavy. It has a low capacity (7+1..really?). You have to spend $2,000 to get a "decent" one and you had better have some good mojo (and a rabbit's foot, horseshoe, 4-leaf clover) to get it to run right. Seriously, he has made a very viable argument. Really, he has no reason to further troll, I mean post reasonable comments here. Don't stop him from leaving. Really...

So how much more money do you have to dump into that POS KC to reach the magical 2k mark? I only have 400.00 into mine, it is running 100%, but I no it is only a fluke.

Sadly it was north of $2,000. Still waiting for the first failure of ANY kind. Stupid big heavy low-capacity piece of crap. It keeps going BANG when I pull the trigger. :crying:

Well damn, take off a couple parts to make it worth 2k and send it to me so mine will be WAY more reliable.
