Today, some of the parts for my latest AR build (#19) arrived. I now have an assembled lower assembly. The lower is a Quentin Defense USMC billet model with a MAGPUL MOE FDE stock, MAGPUL MOE FDE grip, MAGPUL B.A.D. lever, Spikes lower kit, and a Spikes Mil-Spec buffer tube with a T2 buffer.

When the upper arrives, it will receive a MAGPUL MOE RVG, MAGPUL FDE XTM Rail covers, an Aimpoint ML2 (w/ QRP mount and FDE cover), a MAGPUL FDE MBUS, and a TROY VTAC tan sling. Five MAGPUL FDE PMAGs will finish the build off.

Currently #19. At one point a few years ago, I had a total of 27. I sold a few and traded a few in order to expand my 1911 collection which is up to 80 now.

What do you think #19 will cost you when you are done?

From what I can roughly figure, about $1700. That is less than what I expected I would have into it originally.

    Very nice James!
Are you planning on a billet upper? Slick side or standard?

Looks like I am going to use Quentin's Standard billet upper with the FA. I want to keep with the classic M4 look on this one.

This is my other USMC build. It has a CMMG upper w/ a SOCOM M4 profile barrel and a Centermass (C.M.T.S.) USMC engraved lower.

Both builds will sport the FDE furniture.

Have I mentioned lately that I'm extremely jealous of your collection?

That will look good with the FDE color. Once I finish my 2nd build, an A2, I am going to do a carbine in FDE.
