Went to the range to shoot my new 3rd gen 19 and my 3rd gen 26.Noticed that when I shoot my 26 everything is fine but yet when I shoot the 19 with the same grip it bites me on the web of my hand.Any idea why that would be?Would understand if it was the smaller 26 but not with the 19.Is there a difference in the frame?
Can you be more specific about the 'bite'? Is the bottom edge of the slide rubbing the top of hand on one or both sides of the slide? Or is there a sore spot in the middle of the web?
There is a difference in the frame. If you look at a G26 vs a 19, you'll notice the position of the "hump" in the backstrap is different.
Many people complain about the glock grip angle on the 19, but have no trouble with the 26, or vice versa. It has to do with where in your hand that "hump" sits.
Thanks guys for the quick responses.Butch,Yes that is exactly what happens. Thanks to the bottom of the slide I have 2 small scars on the top of my hand.4 Rules,The Grip Force Adapter seems to be the ticket.
