175gr STHP

Discussion in '10mm Reloading Forum' started by G36shooter, Apr 23, 2013.

  1. Just loaded up some 175gr STHP over 8.5gr of Power Pistol shot through a stock gen4 20, chrono for a 5 shot avg. 1176fps.

Thats exactly where the winchester factory loaded ones shoot velocity wise over my chrono. Just did it this past weekend.

  3. That is what I was trying to duplicate, I am sure the vel. will be faster with the 6" brl.

Thanks for posting this. I carry the 175 factory STHP.

Curious... how much were the components? Fairly pricy I imagine.

I think the bullets are $35/100.
I also carry the factory ones

  6. Bullets 44.00/100 from Midway. Maybe befor Nov. 2012 they were less. I had these on back-order and they arrived Mon. 4/22

I would have thought it would have been a little faster than that. 8.5gr PP gave me right at 1,200 fps with a 180gr. when I had a 10mm.
