Why embarrassed? I have a 24 that is leaving my home shortly. I have been trading all mine for gen4's. I love the texture so much better. I have a gen4 26,27, 23, and 21 and have had no problem with any. There is alot of bashing of the gen4's but they feel great and have worked great for me.

    I wouldnt give up a 17-L for a Gen 4,ever, with that said I would give up a standard Gen 3 for a Gen 4, I had a Gen 4 G23 and I sold it , I miss it so =(

There is the 34 and 35. Only slightly shorter sight radius. Then the 24 and 17L

My 17L is the funnest to shoot gun I have.

Recoil is almost nil, it's super accurate, easy to stay on target. it's a joy to shoot.
